How to download your LinkedIn Database

Downloading your LinkedIn database is a great way to get a handle on the types of people you are connected with and prepare for a campaign. Of course, you’ll need to be smart about storing people’s data outside of LinkedIn and use it wisely within the realms of GDPR.

If you’re all set with that though, here is a quick step by step to tell you how to do it. As LinkedIn is always changing things, please note these instructions were valid in March 2018. If you notice something has changed, please let us know.

  1. Click on “Me” followed by Privacy & Settings
  2. Within Privacy scroll down until you find “How LinkedIn Uses Your Data”
  3. Click on ‘Change’ to the right
  4. In the drop-down box that appears, you’ll have several options to choose from. Select the right option depending on what you need the download for. If you are running a campaign, select Pick & Choose > Connections
