Add #Hashtags to your LinkedIn Profile headline

Our step-by-step guide
Identify keywords you most want to be associated with.
Type your first keyword into the ‘Search’ box in the top left putting a # before the word ( #linkedincreators ). You will now see everyone using that hashtag in their posts or on their profile.
Is there a significant number of followers? If not, it means not many people are searching for that hashtag so you might not get much traction using it (or you might consider you’ll stand out in a smaller pond because there is less content coming into the feed).
What are people discussing? Is it your topic or confused with another – like Automation and Automotive. Consider, if you want your content to show up in this feed (remember you only have five hashtags so you can be picky).
Start a list of hashtags and write the number of followers for each so you can evaluate the best ones later, and run another search.
Review your list and make your selection.
To add/edit your hashtags, navigate to the ‘Dashboard’ on your profile (a darker blue/grey box above your ‘Featured’ section). Click on ‘Creator Mode’ and a pop up will appear for you to edit.
