Hi, I’m Naomi — I help experts build businesses that are as powerful as their ideas.
Meet Naomi-Rose Everly
If your work is hard to explain, and your audience isn’t quite landing the way you hoped, you’re not alone.
As a LinkedIn profile expert, I’ve spent the last decade helping people, I coach consultants, coaches, and professionals with deep experience and strong reputations who are ready to position themselves for bigger results — without selling out or starting over.
I’ve been critiquing LinkedIn profiles for over 10 years through my company, TheProfile.Company. What I’ve learned is this: your positioning doesn’t need to be louder, it needs to be clearer — more emotionally resonant, more strategic, and more you.
My superpower is pulling the gold from what you do and translating it into compelling, grounded messaging — the kind that makes people say, “I’ve been waiting for someone like you.”
What I Bring to the Table
Strategy is only part of the story. I bring clarity, momentum and a deep understanding of what it really takes to build a business around your expertise.
MBA in Strategic Leadership
In 2022, I graduated with an MBA from Portsmouth University. It gave me the language and structure to translate deep subject-matter expertise into scalable, sustainable business models.
More importantly, it taught me how to position expertise within the wider commercial and operational landscape — helping clients build real traction, not just glossy brands.
Implementation & Momentum
I don’t just give you a plan and wish you luck — I help you bring your ideas to life. Whether it’s your programme, funnel, script or strategy, we’ll build the assets that move your business forward.
With a clear focus on delivery and momentum, I’ll help you get visible, stay aligned, and move quickly with confidence.
Lived Experience
I’ve been self-employed for 19 years, and I’ve seen it all — the pivots, the reinventions, and the burnout. I know how personal this journey is, especially when you’re building a business around your expertise.
That’s why I bring not just strategy, but empathy, structure, and straight-talking support to help you build something that works for you— not just your clients.
I’ve been helping people position themselves online for more than a decade — long before “personal brand” was a buzzword.
But this journey didn’t start with a polished message or perfect strategy. It started with failure, clarity, and the decision to begin again.
2006
In 2006, I launched my first coaching business. By 2008 — during the financial crash — it had collapsed.
I remember standing in my tower block in Putney, looking across to Canary Wharf, watching the world fall apart, knowing the mistakes I’d made were mine alone.
The crash didn’t take my business down. My lack of clarity, structure, and marketing did.
2010 That moment was a turning point.
I took a role — aptly named — at Marketing Help for Coaches, which turned out to be one of the most formative decisions of my life.
I learned everything I’d missed the first time around — strategy, sales messaging, how to build a real journey for clients.
While there, I joined the very first cohort of Daniel Priestley’s Key Person of Influence programme and began writing my first book: Grassroots to Green Shoots — a raw, reflective attempt to make sense of everything I’d learned (and everything I wished I’d known).
It helped me process the pain of starting, struggling, and starting again.
Those two experiences changed everything.
They led to me taking over Marketing Help for Coaches, which I ran for two years before being headhunted into a LinkedIn training company that worked in partnership with LinkedIn.
That’s where everything shifted.
2013
As Head Training Consultant, I reviewed hundreds of LinkedIn profiles, trained global sales teams, and led LinkedIn’s “Rock Your Profile” stand at Talent Connect.
Again and again, I saw the same problem: people weren’t being seen for who they really were — and their LinkedIn profiles were holding them back.
2015
So in 2015, I launched TheProfile.Company – establishing myself as a LinkedIn Profile expert – starting the first company in the world to offer LinkedIn profile writing as a strategic service.
I also wrote the first book on the subject: What to Put on Your LinkedIn Profile.
It wasn’t just a how-to — it was a reclamation of everything I’d learned the hard way.
That book — and every one since — has been written in the same spirit:
To capture what works, share what matters, and help others avoid the traps I once fell into.
2020
In 2020, I launched Magnetise Your Expertise (originally published as The Expert Economy) — a practical guide for turning your knowledge into income and your message into magnetism.
Has it all been easy? No.
But I’ve remained fully self-employed for nearly 20 years.
And I’ve helped hundreds of others find clarity, confidence, and consistency in their business journeys too.
“Success isn’t about what you achieve, It’s about who you become.”
— Naomi Rose Everly
Everything I teach, I’ve lived…
My work has always emerged from real conversations, real results — and a deep commitment to helping people build a business that works for them.
Along the way, I’ve written three books — not as a brand exercise, but as a way to share what I’ve learned, capture what works, and encourage those still in the thick of it.
Grassroots to Green Shoots (2010, 2020)
A raw, honest reflection on what it takes to start, stumble, and start again. This book was written as a way to make sense of the early lessons — the kind you only learn the hard way — and to encourage others to keep going when things fall apart. It’s not a how-to. It’s a companion for the journey.
What to Put on Your LinkedIn Profile (2016, 2018)
The original guide to strategic profile writing — written before “personal brand” became a buzzword. Practical, straight-talking, and built from hundreds of profile reviews, this book helps you write a profile that connects, converts, and reflects who you really are.
Magnetise Your Expertise on LinkedIn (2020)
This is your guide to becoming the only person your clients want to work with. From positioning your offer to packaging your expertise and building momentum — it’s the book that brings it all together. It’s not about going viral. It’s about building something magnetic, sustainable, and true to you.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Business gets simpler when you stop guessing.
You don’t need another shiny tool or generic template. You need someone who gets what you do — someone who can see the strategic value of your expertise and help you shape it into a business that’s desirable, profitable, and aligned with your life.
Working with me is practical, focused, and deeply personal. I’ll challenge your thinking, reflect back what’s truly valuable, and help you avoid the common traps that keep expert entrepreneurs stuck.
This is not about becoming a social media influencer or pretending to be someone you’re not. It’s about building a business around the real you — the thoughtful, driven professional you’ve always been — with a clear message and methodology your clients trust.
Enhanced Client Access
Some services delivered through TheProfile.Company include enhanced levels of strategic insight and personal alignment. These services are selectively activated for clients who have been invited to access deeper support.
Activation is based on a unique client code and is not transferable. This ensures the integrity, quality, and personalisation of the service provided.
Unauthorised use of any activation code or attempt to access enhanced support without an invitation may result in restricted or adjusted service levels.
If you’ve received a code directly from Naomi-Rose or as part of a private agreement, you are welcome to reference it when working with integrated systems or platforms associated with TheProfile.Company.
